During a 6 week internship in Ghana in which I built a solar dryer together with a Ghanaian carpenter, I drew blueprints as we went through the building process.
It is essential for future development in this area that there are clear instructions on how solar dryers are built, so that more people can undertake this process.
I decided to use drawing as a medium to create simple looking blueprints while still being able to include all of the necessary info.
I made sure to keep a consistent style and followed a grid for an accurate depiction of all the measurements.

I drew the blueprints on Procreate over the course of a month.
The drawings have recently been used to build a second solar dryer in Uganda.
