Design engineering is an aspect of design which has always interested me, and I have been working on numerous projects in which I can further develop my skills in this area.
Competing in a design engineering competition with a team, we built a robot which could collect balls and build them into a pyramid.
I worked mainly on the ball dropping mechanism, designing a pipe system in which balls could be lifted to the correct height and released by a servo.

SolidWorks Model for pen mechanism in a polar plotter, which allows for switching between two color pens using a single servo.

Design for a robot which can draw a continuous sin wave on the ground.
The mechanism is designed so that the pen can move left and right in a straight line while using only a single servo. It consists of a pipe and a stick which can expand and contract to accommodate for the linear movement of the pen.
