In 2023, I designed and constructed a bed for a small garden bedroom. The bed is made of a frame, two IKEA chests of drawers, and a custom wooden multifunctional storage unit.
The bed and storage unit are made out of spruce wood. The bed is designed so that you can lift it up to create storage for for example empty suitcases, bags, or blankets.
The multifunctional storage unit under the bed is made to store shoes, books, a bag, a bottle, a laptop, toilet paper, and small items, all at the same time. It is retractable by pulling the handle to slide it out, revealing the side pockets.
I designed the multifunctional storage unit in Shapr3d, and then assembled it using wood glue and screws.
